Villa Chasing a Comeback
Villa gave themselves a mountain to climb after falling 3-1 at the Parc des Princes last week. They’ll need a near-perfect night to pull this one back, but the belief will be there under the lights at a packed Villa Park.
Domestically, they bounced back well at the weekend with a dominant 3-0 win away at Southampton. That result helped reset momentum, but this is a step up in class. Villa have also struggled to keep clean sheets at home, conceding in 8 straight Premier League matches at Villa Park.
PSG Fresh and Focused
While Villa were battling in the league, PSG had the weekend off thanks to a break granted by the French FA. Luis Enrique’s side arrive rested and in control of the tie, and they’ve already shown they can handle Premier League opposition after knocking out Liverpool in the previous round.
With Marquinhos returning from suspension and the attacking trio of Kvaratskhelia, Dembele and Hakimi available, they’ll back themselves to hit Villa on the counter if space opens up.

PSG are 2.10 favourites to win on the night, while Aston Villa are priced at 3.25. The draw is 3.70. Goals are expected again, with Villa needing to take risks and PSG possessing the firepower to punish any mistakes.
