The 2025 Major Golf Season is just two weeks away, with The Masters kicking things off. This year, all four events are taking place at some of the most historic venues in the game, giving the season a special feel.

Here are our early picks for who could take home the trophies at each of the year’s Major championships, based on current form, course fit, and big-tournament pedigree.

🟢 The Masters (Augusta National, April 10-13)

The signs are there. JT looked to be back in rhythm at the tail end of 2024, closing with a 2nd and a 3rd-place finish. Augusta suits his game, his sharp iron play and elite scrambling are built for this test.

Scheffler may be the favourite, but don’t sleep on Thomas finally delivering at the Masters.

🟣 US PGA Championship (Quail Hollow, May 15-18)

It’s Quail Hollow. It’s Rory. Enough said?

He’s won here four times on Tour and the layout plays to every one of his strengths, he loves this place. After last year’s meltdown at the US Open, he’ll be desperate to make it right and this is his best shot to do it.

🔵 US Open (Oakmont, June 12-15)

🔮 Prediction: Scottie Scheffler
💰 Odds: 6.00

The world No. 1 made his Major debut here back in 2016 and has grown into the game’s most consistent force since. A US Open win feels inevitable.

Oakmont is brutal. That’s where Scottie thrives. His tee-to-green game is built for this kind of grind, and he’s trending with his form in recent majors.
